I’m sitting here looking out at the farm, and I’ve got the best kind of problem – an absolutely incredible selection of Maremma puppies and adult dogs who are ready to join their forever families, and I wanted to make sure you knew about them.
Right now, I have something I don’t often have: multiple litters at different ages, which means more flexibility for you and more opportunities to find exactly the right fit for your farm or family.
Our puppies are well-socialized with livestock and humans, including young children, making them equally suited as livestock guardians, family companions or both!

Here’s who’s available:
Older puppies (ready now):
One sweet female born in August – she’s had extra time to develop and is showing wonderful livestock guardian instincts
One male and one female from our September litter – at this age, they’re past the tiny puppy phase but still young enough to bond beautifully with new livestock and families
Younger puppies (ready early February):
One female and three males from our November litter – these little ones are growing fast and developing those classic Maremma personalities we love
And here’s something special: Because all of these puppies have spent time together (the older ones help supervise and mentor the younger ones), they know each other well. What this means for you is flexibility.
Want a male/female pair but prefer they come from different litters? No problem – they already get along beautifully. Prefer littermates? We can do that too. Looking for just one puppy? While I highly recommend pairs for the best LGD success, I can work with you on individual placements if that’s truly the best fit for your situation.
I also have adult dogs available – trained, experienced livestock guardian dogs who can go to work immediately. Sometimes an adult is exactly what a farm needs, whether as a solo guardian for a smaller property, a mentor for a younger dog, or simply because you want to skip the puppy phase entirely.
I’ve been updating the website this week with tons of new photos of all the available puppies and dogs. (More photos coming soon, and videos, too!) Once I’m done with the updates, you’ll be able to see them in action with the goats and watch how they interact with each other.
Head over to the website to:

I know choosing a livestock guardian dog is a big decision. These dogs will be part of your farm and family for the next decade or more, so it’s worth taking the time to find the right fit. If you have questions about any of the available dogs, want to discuss which age or sex might work best for your situation, or just want to chat about whether now is the right time – just hit reply or book a call. I love talking through these decisions with people.
The holiday rush is over, spring kidding and lambing season is approaching, and it’s actually a perfect time to bring home a new livestock guardian dog. Puppies have time to settle in, bond with your family and mature before your busiest season hits.
I can’t wait to help you find your perfect Maremma!
Talk soon,
Kim
P.S. – If you’ve been on the fence about adding a livestock guardian dog (or a second one), this is honestly one of the best selections I’ve had available in a while. Don’t sleep on it – reach out and let’s talk about what would work for you.
