Our Base Pricing

Our Maremma puppies are priced between $3,000 and $3,500, depending on age and training level. Adults are priced individually according to age, training, and experience. These prices reflect our commitment to comprehensive health testing, quality nutrition, socialization with livestock and people, ethical training methods, our two-year health guarantee, and lifetime breeder and trainer support.

How Our Reservation System Works

At Prancing Pony Farm, we maintain a transparent and fair system for reserving our Maremma puppies:

Reservation Process

• Reservation Fee: A non-refundable $500 reservation fee is required to hold your place in line for a puppy.
• Fee Application: This fee is applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy.
• Payment Methods: Reservation fees must be paid through one of our approved payment methods (see our Payment Policy for details on fees associated with each method).

Types of Waiting Lists

We maintain two types of waiting lists to serve different needs:

Master Waiting List

• Join at any time with a $500 non-refundable reservation fee
• Secures your place in line for a future litter
• No commitment to a specific litter or puppy
• Provides flexibility while holding your place in order of reservation

Specific Litter List

• For announced upcoming or current litters
• Filled from the Master Waiting List first, then opened to new reservations
• When you move from the Master List to a Specific Litter List, you maintain your original position in line
• Specific puppy selection occurs in reservation order once puppies are 12 weeks old

Reservation Priority and Selection

• Reservations are fulfilled strictly in the order they are received
• No puppy or dog will be held without a paid reservation fee
• Puppy selection order is based on reservation date (first reserved, first to select)
• We will work with you to find a puppy that best matches your needs and situation

Transferring Reservations

• If you’ve reserved a puppy from a current or upcoming litter, but an older puppy or adult dog becomes available that would better suit your needs, you may transfer your reservation to that dog.
• You can also transfer your reservation to a future litter if necessary.
• When transferring to a future litter, the price will reflect the current advertised puppy price of the new litter, not the price of the previous litter.
• All transfers are at Prancing Pony Farm’s discretion.

Reservation Fee Policies

• The $500 reservation fee represents a commitment between Prancing Pony Farm and the customer.
• This fee covers the time spent with each customer, coordination of the breeding program, and holding your place in line.
• Non-refundable Policy: The reservation fee is non-refundable for any reason.
• Transferability: The fee may be transferred to a later litter at Prancing Pony Farm’s discretion.

Final Sale Policy

• All sales are final unless the dog has a health issue covered under our health guarantee or fails the 72-hour veterinary examination.
• The full balance is due before puppy pickup or delivery.
• We do not offer refunds after the puppy goes home except as our health guarantee specifies.
