After years of breeding LGDs and consulting with countless owners, I can tell you definitively: the biggest predictor of success, next to the puppy’s preparation, is the owner’s education. I regularly consult with heartbroken owners whose dogs failed despite impressive pedigrees, good genetics, proper early socialization, and clean health records. What went wrong?
